编号 88765765

Larges meat platers for main (hot) courses from the Meissen manufactory.
1850-1924.

There are scratches on one dish. From the reverse side! See photo.
It was thanks to society’s fascination with the art of Chinese paintings that the famous “Onion Pattern” (Zwiebelmuster) was born in the workshops of the Meissen manufactory in the 30s of the 18th century. Trying to copy images of tropical fruits - pomegranates, peaches, lemons - from Chinese paintings, German masters, who had never seen these wonders, depicted them in such a way that they more closely resembled onions.
