Used stamp album containing over 1720 Japanese stamps, the majority of them postal used with a few mint.

The album itself shows signs of use, with creases in the interleaf sheets, yellowing, traces of labels having been removed etc. Please check the pictures very carefully for your own impression, and please handle this album with care.
Commemoratives, prefecture stamps with some older definitives. The stamps are roughly sorted by era, from prewar to the 2020s, with a section of mint Ryukyu stamps, postally used prefecture stamps and series stamps (many series: National Parks, Tokyo Olympics, 1960s birds and flowers. Classical art, National Treasure 1&2, Arts and Crafts, Western architecture, Modern art, Fish and Shellfish, Matsuo Basho, Waterside birds, Kabuki, Alpine flowers, Insects, 2nd men of Culture.)
There are also Hello Kitty, Peter Rabbit, manga/funny characters stamps.
The album contains a MNH copy of the iconic 1949 Geese on the Moon postal week stamp and 1948 Philatelic week Beauty in Return stamp. Please check the pictures.
There are 2 FDCs also inside the album, as per picture.
The stamps appear to be in good, fine and very fine condition. There is some small damage such as stains, discoloration, teeth missing etc. Please check the pictures. All stamps are pictured.
Sent registered/tracked/insured with An Post Ireland. I will very happily add extra stamps for the successful bidder, and will try and answer any questions to the best of my ability.
