Beautiful handmade wool Afghan gold rug circa 1950 measuring 190 x 130 cm ( 6 x 4 ft ). Rows of Gul motifs decorated with geometrics in lovely gold and copper background field having similar borders. This Afghan rug has a very shimmy wool surface and is one of the finer of this category with very fine foundation. It has been professionally cleaned and washed with original end kelims and in very good used condition. These types are very decorative and sought after.
