Haida Czech art deco glass vase from beginning of the 19th century designed by Carl Schappel. It is blown and hand-shaped, multi-layered, thick-walled glass. It is made of colorless glass and purple overlay decorated with circle - oval and leaf - shaped patterns. A typical work showing the favorite elements of the Art deco style featuring geometrical facets and the use of multi-layered glass in bright and vivid colours. Pedestalled art glass with six - parted lay out and facets. Period : 1910 - 1920. A unique glass ornament of exceptional quality and elegant decoration from a refined private collection.
