Victor Boivin succeeded his father, Jules Boivin in 1881.
Boivin Fils registered a mark in 1897.
The Boivin firm received medals at the Universal Expositions of 1867 and 1889: Gold, Silver and Honourable mention.
Condition report:
In fine circa 125 years old original condition, some scratches to enamel and dark areas of gilding - great patina, minor dark spots and dings - no repairs, no cracks as you can see in pictures that are part of the description
