盘子 - Large Qing dynasty second half 19th Century Canton famille rose "rose medallion" ceramic charger - 陶瓷

Very beautiful large Qing dynasty late 19th Century Canton famille rose "rose medallion" ceramic charger plate.

Porcelain dish with enamel polychrome decoration in the Cantonese Rose Family style. Typical style of ceramics exported to Europe, mainly during the second half of the 19th Century.

Circular, diameter - 29.3 cm.

The center with a medallion enclosing a bird among peonies blooms and foliage. The border with four medallions enclosing figurines at court dressed in Ming style clothes and birds, butterflies and fruits among blooms. Sienna glazed rim. Raised on a low foot.

Some wear, a small chip inside (please see detailed photos). Firing spots on rim and reverse. Otherwise very fine condition overall.

The lot comprises only the plate, the stand is not for sale.
