Here is a great French classic for fluorite: a mint green plate of cubes from Le Figuier vein in Fontsante mine!
This small vein is the only one throughout all the deposit of Fontsante that produced such quality intense green fluorite, with an average crystal size much higher than what occurs in the other veins.
You have here a superb specimen from Le Figuier, that displays intense mint green cubes up to 3.2 cm edge (1.5 cm edge in average) with unusual 'window-like' white phantoms, probably micro dissolution channels.
The specimen can be backlit easily since the back side is recrystallized and the light can go through.
Notice also some micro galena, chalcopyrite and pyrite crystals, partly included in the fluorite, as well as some baryte balls at the back of the specimen.
A rare opportunity to obtain a quality green fluorite from Le Figuier vein in Fontsante!
