Large “Robin Hood” character jug by Royal Doulton, England – D6527 Style Two, Produced 1960-1992

This English Royal Doulton large character jug is entitled “Robin Hood” and was designed by Max Henk. It is numbered D6527, has a copyright date of 1959 and was discontinued in 1992. Fashioned after Robin Hood, a fictional character who stole from the rich to give to the poor. He wears a feathered cap and the handle is a quiver and bow.

Marked: With the Doulton factory mark, Made in England, Royal Doulton, England, Robin Hood, D6527, CORP 1959 and Doulton & Co. Limited.

Measures: 7 1/2 inches tall x 7 inches wide including handle.

It is in excellent condition.
