Gorgeous PowerMac G4 400MHZ!
Ultra Rare Collectable Vintage Applemac in Original Box
Silver

In original box.

Key features:

- Processor G4, 400MHz

- RAM PC-133: 1.25Gb (1x 512Mb, 3x 256Mb)

- Hard drive: 40Gb

- DVD ROM drive

- System: MacOS X 10.4.11

- Graphics card: ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (the original ATI 128 Rage Pro graphics card is also included)

This Apple Power Macintosh G4/400 (AGP Graphics), based on the Sawtooth architecture, features a 400 MHz PowerPC 7400 (G4) processor with the AltiVec "Velocity Engine" vector processing unit and 1 MB of backside cache.
It shipped configured with 64 MB or 128 MB of RAM (which has been upgraded to 1.25Gb in the present offering), a 10 GB or 20 GB Ultra ATA/66 hard drive (upgraded to 40Gb in this offering), a 5X DVD-ROM drive, and either a 2X AGP ATI Rage 128 or Rage 128 Pro graphics card with 16 MB of SDRAM (upgraded here to 9800 Radeon Pro with 128MB of video ram).
AirPort (802.11b) was available by custom configuration and is not included here.

Note:

The original configuration shipped from October 13, 1999 to December 2, 1999 with 128 MB of RAM, a 20 GB hard drive, and an ATI Rage 128 graphics card and was assigned model number M7824LL/A (EMC 1810). M7824LL/B (EMC 1843) shipped from December 2, 1999 to February 16, 2000 with the same configuration as its predecessor except it had an ATI Rage 128 Pro graphics card -- which adds a DVI port and 1920x1200 support.

All Power Macintosh G4/400 (AGP Graphics) configurations use a case design effectively the same as that introduced with the Power Macintosh G3 (Blue & White) -- complete with a fold down door on the side that makes upgrading very easy -- but is clad in a more conservative "graphite" and white color scheme. Custom configurations also were available.
