Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon 25%, Merlot 25%, Sangiovese 50% Produced for the first time in 1997, Modus immediately gained recognition from the most important experts in the sector. Sangiovese is the main grape variety of Modus, which gives the wine hints of cherry and ripe red fruits. Merlot gives roundness and freshness, enriching the taste notes of blackberry, while Cabernet Sauvignon gives structure and elegance. Vinification Fermentation took place separately for the three varieties in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 28°C for 10 days. The post-fermentation maceration on the skins continued for another 2 weeks.
