In the late 1960s, Old Crow introduced the Traveler. A flat bottle with a strap to hold a fake-wood cover in place over the cap, it was marketed as being for frequent travellers who wanted to make sure they had good whiskey wherever they went. The Old Crow Traveler bottle’s profile was specially designed to make it the ideal fit for businessman’s briefcase – “the tuckaway fifth that packs as flat as your shirt”. Distilled by the OId Crow distillery that was closed in the 80's. The later version(s) had a "shot glass" cap, the first version(s) had a bigger wood-style tumbler cap.
