Interesting original French M-15 Engineer Adrian type helmet with the original engineer unit plate, originally mounted and never removed, with chinstrap and original paint. The liner is missing, but the helmet has its beautiful patina with the original paint and plate, and the chinstrap.. This helmet was recently found during a house clearing at Verdun France. You can clearly see the very early horizon blue color, over which a dark blue paint was applied in 1916/1917 to countermeasure the visibility of the very light blue helmets.
A one-looker, unmessed helmet!
