MMZ Minsk Helios-44-2 2/58mm #bokehmonster - M42 | 针孔相机

An auction of the legendary Helios 44-2 f2/58mm soviet lens.

This is the Belomo version of the Helios, a much better quality glass than the Valdai ones - provided by lots of online reviews.

Not modified,
M42 mount,
no hard stops for the aperature.
I could screw on easily a 49mm threaded filter. (not included)
-No front or rear cups included

Condition:
Other than the usual marks of wear / micro scratches (from cleaning) on the lens and body, and minimal dust inside (see all photos, even ultra-macro photos of the dust, the dust did not really bother me in the photo making) it is in good condition!

I could not really see any oil on the aperture blades.

The rings - both the aperture and focus - turn very smoothly.

I provided 7 photographs from my Lumix S5 camera , I think they are very sharp and have gorgeous bokeh if opened fully.

The last 7 photos were taken with these settings:

-1st photo: Opened fully at f2, focused infinity, white balance corrected
-2nd photo: Closed down to about f4-f5.6, white balance corrected
-3rd photo: Closed down fully, from corner to corner the image is very sharp
-4th photo: Opened fully at f2, white balance corrected, i find the image very sharp in the centre.
-5th photo: closed down fully, super sharp at close up too
-6th photo: Pointed at the sky, closed down fully, infinite focused , exposed for the sky- i could not really find any disturbing dust spot.
7th photo: Pointed at the sky, closed down fully, infinite focused, overexposed for the sky - I could not find any disturbing dust spot.
