This is a very rare limited edition from Japan in Gold. It was not available anywhere else in the world at that time in 1999. Although the camera is in fine working condition it has two issues. The battery compartment cover door won't hold. So it is best to use the supplied 3V power supply or tape the cover door shut. The second thing is that the motorized lens cover is a little bit fidgety. Overall else the camera works very fine as you can see in the pictures. The camera body is made of aluminum alloy and at the time of release, it was also the world's smallest, lightest, and slimmest body in the megapixel class! This rare digital camera had some pretty sophisticated features for its time. Namely the scene recognition auto white balance, shooting assist function, various playback and recording modes. Another function, jointly developed with Pioneer, was a "Map Viewer function" which combined digital camera images with map data and could be used on a personal computer or a car navigation system. This camera will be deliverd with a Fuji 3V power supply.
