Mihai Cotiga - Here to Listen 2
This painting draws inspiration from Picasso's portraits, borrowing compositional elements while embracing a more realistic approach. The expressive brushstrokes and textured layers bring the figure to life, making her presence almost palpable. Unlike Picasso's often fragmented figures, this portrait radiates warmth and positivity, inviting the viewer into a moment of joyful connection. The vibrant colors and thick marks create a dynamic energy, pulling the viewer into the woman’s world. Her lively gaze and welcoming smile invite you to sit down, share your story, and find comfort in her joyful presence.
The painting is oil on canvas mounted on a wooden stretcher. It comes shipped very carefully in a box directly from Mihai Cotiga’s studio. The painting is hand signed on the back and it will come with a certificate of authenticity.
