1963: Became lecturer at Musashino Art University and director of Ceramic Association.
1971: Started annual solo exhibitions.
1976: Received Minister of Education Award at Japan Exhibition, works acquired by National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo.
1979: Awarded Blue Ribbon Medal, works acquired by Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art.
1981: Received Mainichi Art Award, works acquired by National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto.
1982: Awarded Japan Art Academy Prize, works acquired by Agency for Cultural Affairs.
Throughout career, served as director at Japan Exhibition and Japan Glass Art Craft Association. Also, lecturer at Musashino Art University and president of Iwata Glass Crafts Co., Ltd.
