This vintage original statue from the mid-80s is signed Lindsey B, the brand of the artist Lindsey Balkweill (actually Balkwill). Lindsey B is a British sculptor and mannequin designer. Her brand Lindsey B became internationally known in the mid-1980s. In 1983 she founded the company Lindsey B, for which she designed a series of decorative sculptures based on cubism and art deco, often with broad shoulders typical of the eighties. Balkwill made many decorative statues between 1984 and 1987 that are reminiscent of mannequins and display figures.
