Anton Schild became the largest manufacturer of Swiss made mechanical movements. They are greatly respected today for their reliability.
The company suffered during the quartz crisis in the 1970s and as a result, was forced to merge into the ETA group to survive.

This New Old Stock MareMonti is assembled by a professional Swiss watch maker of old stock components.
The movement is from the same period as the watch and is to be considered new and unused, well stored, tested for quality and approved by an experienced watchmaker.
