德国 - 奖品 - Order of the Red Eagle, Breast Star
Hereditary Prince Georg Wilhelm of Ansbach-Bayreuth (1678-1726) founder of the Order of the Red Eagle
Friedrich Wilhelm II of Prussia elevated the former Franconian order to the second highest in the Prussian monarchy by cabinet decision on June 12, 1792. This was preceded by the annexation of the two principalities of the last Margrave of Ansbach-Bayreuth to Prussia. The order was originally founded by Hereditary Prince Georg Wilhelm of Ansbach Bayreuth in 1705. In 1734 it was converted into the Order of the Brandenburg Red Eagle by Margrave Georg Friedrich Karl. In 1777 it was renewed for the second time by Friedrich Karl Alexander of Ansbach-Bayreuth.
The formerly single-class award was given for loyal services to the ruling house. In the course of its history, which ended in 1918, the Order of the Red Eagle developed into the most varied German decoration.
The gold-colored breast star was only awarded together with the Grand Cross of the Order of the Red Eagle. Eight-pointed with 48 rays of different lengths, it bears the circular central medallion with the order's insignia. The gold-framed red eagle with the blue breast shield holds the insignia of power in its claws with a sword and scepter. The order's motto in gold capitals on the surrounding blue-based inscription is SINCERE ET CONSTANTER sincere and constant.
You will receive this order as a museum reproduction true to the original.
