Shima Kinryou (?-1782-1862)

A painter from the late Edo period associated with the Nagasaki school.
His name is Hou.
Originally a samurai of the Nanbu clan, he fled to Nagasaki after an incident in Edo, where he studied painting. He was later invited to Himeji by the chief retainer of the Himeji clan.
