A rare huge antique French Napoleon III style, carousel style liqueur & cigar humidor tantalus or presenter box. Of hexagonal form, made of black lacquered wood with a beautiful work and patina on the doors. Hexagon in shape, this tantalus/humidor opens by 6 rotating doors. Each door is adorned on the outside with mother-of-pearl fixtures. When the top mechanism is turned, the doors swing open to display the contents. Extremely rare complete set of the original liquor decanters and cordials or shot glasses! Height: 38 cm including finial Width: 25 cm Very good condition. A few ormolu or brass fixture pieces missing from inside the doors. One mother-of pearl plaque missing from one door. Some doors do not rotate automatically as a few cogwheels are missing.
