Cuvee miel pack 3 fonteinen have been using honey in selected beers since 2013, either by adding it to the warm lambik wort in the coolship or by adding it to a blend just before bottling. Honey is a natural and complex source of sugar. Around 2017, they have put in beehives next to the barrel house. This special version of the Cuvée Armand & Gaston is a blend of one-, two-, three- and four-year old lambikken that have all been infused with honey on the coolship. While creating the final blend, they added some more local honey. This pack also includes another Oude Geuze Cuvée Armand & Gaston, with a part of the lambikken aged on old Oloroso sherry barrels and an Aardbei/Kriek, which is a blend of a strawberry lambik and a sour cherry lambik, in a proportion of 65/35.
