The house exists since 1864 and belongs to the family Alvarez from 1982 who has invested a lot and also acquired more acres for other type of wines. The grapes are cooled down for 24 hours after harvesting and in malolactic way. After that the maturation is done in barrels of 225 ltr. As well as huge ones of 20000 ltr. 2012 is a very concentrated year caused by warm and dry circumstances with some rain in september = good for growing in more quality of the grapes => more color and tannins.
