A magnificent silk and wool handmade Persian Isfahan runner rug circa 1970 work of master weaver Sanayeh measuring 385 x 95 cm ( 12.6 x 3 ft ). An all over Zele Sultan design having vases decorated with the floral objects in silk with the cream background having narrow bands of borders with similar design. This is an original work of the master weaver who paid particular attention to details. The signature couture at one end, the rug has been professionally cleaned and washed both ends secured with good consistent pile considering its age. Very attractive piece indeed ideal for narrow and long corridors, staircases and even hallways.
