Very Old Antique Bamboo braid wooden yoroi’bitsu 鎧櫃 (armour storage box) – also known as gusoku’bitsu 具足櫃, fitted with iron ‘pole carrying’-handles.
On three sides embellished with a gold lacquer family crests. De voorkant verfraaid met een goudlakkarakter: 前 (mae). De Kanji "Mae" betekent "de eerste"; met andere woorden: "Ik, die voorrang heeft boven anderen".
De andere zijden zijn versierd met een twee wapens
Period: Japan – Edo period

Height 51,9 cmLength by 39,8cm by 39,8
It is in a fair restored condition the bottom base reinforced to give it strength with losses, missing hinge, decay traces of wear and losses. Paint Also restaurations of strengthened corners and base. Pleas see fotos for condition.
