Andrea Freccero is one of the most important and famous Disney authors in Italy.
Top cover artist for Mickey Mouse, he was entrusted with the creation of the most important variants.
For example, the cover commemorating Donald Duck's 90th birthday is by him, the variants of Lucca Comics or those with the most sophisticated aesthetic effects are by him.

Andrea Freccero is an Italian illustrator and cartoonist. After finishing art high school he came into contact with one of the greats of Disney comics made in Italy, Giovan Battista Carpi, with whom, after a long learning journey, he began to collaborate, dealing with comics, illustrations and covers. In the following years the collaboration with Mickey Mouse is constant: Freccero is considered the "graphic father" of one of the most successful series of recent years, Doubleduck, for which he created the main characters, collaborating on structuring its stylistic essence. Today Andrea Freccero is considered one of the most relevant talents of his generation and he is entrusted with one of the most important covers in the history of Mickey Mouse, n° 3000, which enjoys enormous critical and sales success. Also its celebratory variant of the number 3023, a cover that seals the entry of Panini Comics into the Italian Disney universe and which will be presented at Lucca 2013.

For about ten years he has been the official cover designer for the Lustiges Taschenbuch, an important Disney series published by the Northern European publisher Egmont Ehapa, for which he also creates comics stories and illustrations of various kinds. Giunti also relies on Freccero for some very successful editorial series such as The Most Beautiful Disney Stories and The Masterpieces of Disney Literature, while the publisher IDW entrusts him with covers on which his creativity proves particularly lively. Over the years, his work experiences are many and multifaceted, such as collaborations as a creative for the marketing of Ferrero, Philips, Rovio (Angry Birds), Glénat, Sanoma, Arnoldo Mondadori, RCS and Unique Heritage Presse. For the last four years, with great passion and enthusiasm he has held the role of artistic supervisor for all the Panini Comics Disney series.
