Original woodblock print triptych – Kobayashi Kiyochika (1847-1915) – “Bandō jusanban-rei to kinryūzansensōji hōzō-mon rakkeikinen” 坂東十三番令取 金竜山浅草寺 宝蔵門落慶記念-Japan–1964(Showa 39 period)
The Hozomon(宝蔵門) gate of Senso-ji(浅草寺) Temple burned down in 1945 and was rebuilt in 1964. This woodblock print was made in commemoration of that.
It was originally a hand-painted work by Kiyochika Kobayashi, but I don't even know if the original work has been burned or taken out somewhere.
The sign of Gasei kobayashi kiyochika hitsu (画聖小林清親筆)"great artist Kobayashikiyochika paint" is written on .
