Dear Sir/Madam, The pictures are made with studio lighting and are not being manipulated. Sometimes color differences occur when viewed in different light colors. That being said, the color blue is more desired than the 'gold' you refer to so your accusation of deliberate manipulation is unfounded. You can always send the necklace back when unhappy.
