A large, super quality Aegar tipularis shrimp, discovered in the Solnhofen Limestone, Eichstatt, Germany.
It dates from the Upper Jurassic Pariod, 154 to 144 million years old, and is on the original matrix.
Some of the most beautiful preservation is found in the Solnhofen limestone deposits in Germany.
This specimen is excellent for display, and has super preservation.
It lived in the sand on the Ocean floor, scavenging for food.
The dendrites typical of Solnhofen are also evident around the shrimp on the limestone matrix

Yes, Correos Espana did a great job of smashing the Dinosaur to pieces. However, we told the buyer we would give a full refund, and he should retain the damaged article. It was securely packed in a large custom box with fragile tape all over the outside. It is regrettable that this occurred but the buyer has a full refund as customer service is of utmost importance to us.
