Om maṇi padme hum - ॐ मणि पद्मे हूँ
The most famous mantra of Buddhism of its Mahāyāna branch. It is the six-syllable mantra of the bodhisattva of compassion. Therefore, it is also called Mahākaruna's Great Compassion Mantra and is considered the most important in Tibetan Buddhism.
Each syllable corresponds to a Buddha, purifies us from a defect and corresponds to a wisdom:
OM: Ratnasambhava, purifies pride, brings stability

It is such a strong gem that it is at 5.5 degrees on the Mohs scale.
But it can dissolve if exposed to water for a long time.
