Full colour page drawn by Ezquerra for an episode of Island of the Damned, featuring Durham Red the 'Strontium Bitch', a mutant vampire. Published in 2000ad prog (issue) 765 on 11th January 1992 This is a full colour page still complete with the acetate overlay. The page has been painted full bleed by Ezquerra for maximum impact and with a fantastic colour palette. Featuring a large splash panel of Durham Red in a blood splatter style, this page tells Durham’s origin story; as a mutant vampire, she has had to join the Search & Destroy agency, the same as Johnny Alpha. These agents were extremely feared and also known as ‘Strontium Dogs’. The page features the official square 2000ad rubber stamp on the reverse, which details the prog (issue number) and date published. Carlos Ezquerra co-created Judge Dredd and is a legend in the comic art world. Please view all the photographs for condition report. As you can see it is in excellent condition.
