Ono Bakufu was a Japanese artist.
1888 Born on June in Shimogyo-ku, Tokyo Hongo.
His real name is Bob Youzou(要三)
1896 Meet Kuroda Seiki(黒田清輝) and learn Western painting
1914 he became a supporter of the art woodblock print.
1917 he had a friendship with Hata Teru(秦テルヲ1887-1945) and tried Japanese painting.
1928, he went on a sketch trip to Palau, Yap, Saipan and other southern islands.
Published a Art Portfolio of Familiar Fishes of Nippon at Nishinomiya Shoin between 1936-1940
