The figure being drawn is three members of Onoue matsuko(尾上松幸) who plays the masaokanotubone(政岡局), Mimasu Gennosuke(三升源之助) playing the Arashishi otokonosuke(荒獅子男之介), Onoe Kikugoro(尾上菊五郎) playing is Niki danjo (仁木弾正) drawn.
Niki danjo turned into a rat and tried to steal the secret letter.
So, a rat was drawn on this picture.
Utagawa Kunisada is named Gototei(五渡亭)（1811-1842) in his signature.
He used from bunka(文化) 8 years to the end of the Tenpo(天保) era.
Paper is pasted on the back of the woodblock print (backed), tears and losses on the paper.
