Pale celadon jade sculpture Chinese boys -China–20th Century
On offer is a light green grey-white pale celadon jade sculpture, consisting of 2 hoho erzi (boys) the bigger boy lifting the smaller boy. The older boy has a lingzhi fungus, symbol for long life, between his knees. Nicely carved in the detail. This fine jade pendant passes the scratch test for good hardness, no scratch with sencys hardmetal scratch pen possible! Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color. Also tested for thermal conductivity, which indicates (nephrite) jade. A fine piece, very suitable as an addition to your collection or to present as a gift. Has been tested as can be seen below, but comes without official test certificate. Provenance: acquired from inland China.
