Large Chinese porcelain oxblood glazed bottle vase – China - first quarter 20th Century On offer is a nice and very large Chinese porcelain teardrop shaped bottle vase, with a nice oxblood colored glaze. Also known as Langyao, Sang de boeuf or flambé or oxblood. This particular one has beautiful dark and lighter red accentuated vertical stripes across the glaze. The finish of the footrim indicates an origin in the early 20th century. An excellent example! Provenance; From a private collection in Winschoten, Netherlands 2022, 2023 and Ye Hua Chinese Art 2024. Size: Measures ca. 45cm in height! Belly measures ca. 23cm across. Condition: Good. There is a small professional restoration at the rim (broken out piece of porcelain put back in place) which is almost invisible! Further excellent, no damage!
