“Love pushes men and animals to do oddities: the lioness forgets about the little ones, the pig brushes his teeth to the tree, the horses snort, a young man in love swims in the turbulent waves” (Georgics III, 242- 294)
First edition printed by Sebastian Brandt in Strasbourg in 1502. Maybe from the later editions of 1517 or 1529.
Condition:
Print a bit faded. Some foxing.
