Spain, Spanish-German Blue Division. General Franco. Original and official badge of the Spanish Falange, FET de las JONS, a fascist party that supported Franco during the Spanish civil war and the only one allowed during his dictatorship. Many volunteer soldiers and officers were affiliated with the Falange and wore different types of emblems. This is the official model, known as the "aguinaldo" model. The two winters the Blue Division spent in Russia enjoyed what came to be known as the "Blue Division Bonus". Franco himself led the popular collection and the Christmas bonus was immediately sent to Russia with a very special ambassador: the hero of the Alcazar of Toledo and Head of Franco's military household, Major General José Moscardó. In the Christmas bonus, food, drink, Christmas sweets and gifts, clothes, glasses... as well as this insignia, and others such as the medal of the Virgen del Pilar were sent.
