Sewing box or storage box designed by Jan Teders Jr. for Metalux, The Netherlands ±1957. This is a coloured edition; grey, yellow, red and black. These original lacquered metal boxes are in contrast to the coloured plywood tops. The base is made of black lacquered metal. The tops of the boxes swivel to open so you can store small items inside. Originally it is intended to store sewing stuff like thread and needles. This edition is in very good original condition.
