Historical Roman coin, set in a modern silver pendant with a Laurel wreath border with bail. If preferred the coin can be removed from the pendant. Coin: Billon Antoninianus from Emperor Probus, struck in Siscia in 280 AD. Obverse: IMP CM AVR PROBVS AVG, radiate draped bust right. Under his reign the Roman armies successfully defeated the Germanic invaders in Gaul and put down a rebellion in Britain. He encouraged the planting of vineyards in Gaul, Spain, and Britain and was evidently killed by troops who resented his discipline and being set to agricultural work. Condordia: Roman goddess who embodies agreement in marriage and society. She was often associated with Pax, representing a stable society.
