A very rare large, heavy and old round ceramic cache-pot glazed with a white craquelé glaze. Thin green glazed vines in relief adorn the pot around the outside. Leaves grow on the sides, and they end in beautiful blooming peonies.
The flower pot dates all the way back to the 17th century, Japan. For its age, which is 300 à 400 years the pot is in a good condition. It has a few chips from the upper rim, please look at the detail photos as reference.
