Ardbeg Almost There is the third release in the series of bottles distilled in 1998, following the distillery takeover by Glenmorangie. Starting with the Ardbeg Very Young bottled in 2004, the series shows a work in progress over 10 years, climaxing with Ardbeg Renaissance, bottled in 2008. This is a very approachable dram, with a more pronounced sweetness sitting well alongside the lemon, brine and smoke that characterise the younger bottlings from the series.
Ardbeg Almost There Islay single malt Scotch whisky. Limited edition 2007 bottling; the third of the 'Young Ardbeg Series' (Very Young, Still Young, Almost There, Renaissance) leading to the all new ten year old in 2008.
Bottle, labels and box are in perfect condition, excellent fill-level. Bottle has always been stored upright and inside box.
