A collection of works by Japanese artist Yuichi Tabuchi, born in 1940 to a family of French doll makers, Tabuchi graduated from the Japanese Painting Department of Tama Art University and joined an art publishing company. After working as an editor, he established Tabuchi Editing and Art Office in Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo in 1977 and began working as himself. Starting with book bindings and editorial design, he has undertaken work for publishers, museums, galleries, etc. He has designed many books, including Nobuyoshi Araki's photo collection “Shashin Gekijo / Tokyo Elegy”. From 2000 onward, he focused mainly on creative activities as an artist, including photography and art objects, and collaborated with the poet Takashi Koei on the exhibition He also collaborated with the poet Koei Takao on an exhibition entitled “Contour Phantom: Gyoshuo Koei's Poetry Collection ‘Shikanashi Naki Kyakunin’”. This book is a collection of photographs published at his own expense in 1984 in a limited edition of 600 copies. It is a collection of artistic works composed of contact prints of portraits of guests at the office and scenes from the office.
