A pair of LC1 Basculant Sling Chairs designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand. These are exceptional pieces, as they belong to the earliest production by Cassina in the 1960s. The signature and low serial numbers, 2444 and 2447, are engraved in the steel.
Both chairs are in their original condition with beautiful patina on the cowhide and leather armrests. The chrome is without stains or rust. One of the chairs has a small hole in the leather (see detailed pictures).
They come from a prominent architect in Holland who was the first owner.
