Diocese of Châlons s Marne priest 1770 canon of Beauvais Collège La Marche (1733-1747). Professor of Philosophy
La Marche College (1750-1760) Principal.
University functions: Rector 1739-1741, then 1742-44, by order of the university trustee Parliament. According to Jourdain, he was also professor of rhetoric at La Marche from 1739 to 1741.
Included is the virgin vellum bookmark with the painted child.
The Collège de la Marche, also called the Collège de la Marche-Winville, is a college of the former University of Paris located rue de la Montagne-Sainte-Geneviève. 1360 1790.

The book is in good condition. Given its large size, it might have been better to wrap it in bubble wrap too, instead of using only cardboard. Overall, though, I am very happy with my purchase! Merci!
