After the failure of DCC (Digital Compact Cassette), Pioneer came up with the idea of creating a cassette deck that applied 20-bit digital processing to conventional analog audio cassette tapes. This is one of the few recorders that works with this principle. Sublime S/N ratio of up to 90 dB.
Features: Dolby B and C noise reduction, DPS (Digital Processing System) for extremely sharp, clear sounds, 20-bit analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, synchro recording on CD deck, music search with + /-, memory for 15 songs, super fast and normal speed copying, Dolby SR remote control connections, headphone output, multifunctional fluorescent display, digital tape counter with choice between standard 4-digit display and minute:second display, Full Logic touch keys, automatic MPX, FLEX (Frequency Level Expander) TDNS (Digital Noise Reduction), Super Auto BLE XD, dual logic tape transports i.e. both decks powered by two independent motors
