Beautiful antique silver-plated entrée / vegetable serving dish. Large oval body is fluted in a melon, panelled design and trimmed with ornate beaded borders. The pull-off cover has an ornate cast handle that is sumptuously decorated with foliate scrolls. This tureen is made by one of the most famous silversmith companies in British history and displays their high levels of craftsmanship.

Very good antique condition. Some light wear to silvering to interior and base appropriate to age and use; the ornamental border was reinforced with soldering on the lower half and there is a overspill to the interior.
