Born in Kyoto in 1892. Studied under Taniguchi Kokyo and specialized in samurai paintings. During the war, he lived in Hashimoto Midori-cho, Numazu, and in July 1945 (Showa 20 (1945) he experienced the Numazu Air Raid and drew a Numazu Air Raid Painting Diary based on his experiences. He died in 1976 at the age of 84.

Hello. Thank you for your reviews. I'm sorry for not delivering your scroll in perfect condition. As we described in the listing photos and the description, there was a fold, and damage in the back of the mounting. We always check everything carefully before packing, there was no torn then. In transit, I guess the fold induced torn due to age. Please be assured that we are willing to accept a return at our cost. Could you send it back to us?
