The 2015 Oreno is Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. This nicely balanced effort shows rich color saturation and thick lines. Tenuta dell'Ornellaia is almost halfway along the Via Bolgherese which from Castagneto Carducci leads to the avenue of cypresses in Bolgheri; beyond the trees, in the distance, you can see the sea, which with its breezes caresses the vineyards and behind it the hills, which shelter it from the cold winter winds; in the middle the rows of Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet and Petit Verdot, the grape varieties that give life to incredible wines, with a seductive taste-olfactory heritage and elegant structure. Le Volte dell'Ornellaia is produced with a blend of these grapes and reflects the entire Bolgheri terroir in the glass: soft, warm and characterful.
Intense ruby ​​colour, it smells of sour cherries and violets, blackcurrants, graphite and undergrowth. The taste is caressing, with good body and balance, with measured tannins and a long spicy finish.
