Vintage Beautiful and rare solid silver Rolex officers 'trench-watch' wristwatch, a very early and rare example.

Sleek white enamel dial with black outlined luminous filled Arabic hour markers(much of the luminous paint is missing), subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock. Very neat and original unrestored condition(No cracks to dial) . During this period it was common for an enamel trench watch Rolex wristwatch to have a 'blank' dial. This is because the watch was used purely for functionality, and not to show off.

A no reserve auction. The signed Rolex timepiece is in good original condition and is set with 15 jewels signed Rolex & Rebberg under dial who made movements For Rolex Back in its early days . The timepiece runs with a clear tick and keeps fair time for age, taking into account that the timepiece is antique and over 100 years old.

In 1913 Aegler registered Rolex as a trademark for the manufacture of watches and watch parts. From this point on the history of Wilsdorf & Davis, Aegler and Rolex becomes virtually impossible to untangle from information publicly available, and the modern Rolex foundation never divulges any of its history.
