Antique Art Nouveau vase with a faun’s face – glass bowl, bronze body, all intact and in excellent condition, with no restorations.

The vase is in the Art Nouveau style, made in France around 1850–1900. It features a bronze stand with faun heads—mythical creatures from Roman mythology, half-human, half-goat, symbolizing wild instincts of nature and merriment—with curling horns and drapery, supported by three cloven-hoofed legs. The green glass basin is adorned with an intricate pattern resembling grapevines and has an inward-curving edge. On top, there is a bronze rim with floral motifs.

The vase stands 10.5 inches tall, with a maximum diameter of about 9.5 inches. It weighs 6 pounds, making it quite heavy for its size.
